Geology:
Abitibi region greenstone belt; roughly northwest trending ultramafic flows, mafic to felsic volcanics with coeval intrusions, volcanoclastic sedimentary rocks and several large intrusive batholiths. Metamorphic grade low-to medium greenschist facies.
Mineralized shear structure contained within a locally NNW trending belt of highly metamorphosed (amphibolite facies) Precambrian metavolcanics and metasediments (Kinojevis Group) situated between the La Reine granitic batholith to the west and a satellite granitic body to the east.

Other Comments:
Testing along Duvan structure has not been extensive at depth and it remains as an attractive exploration locus.
Duvan mineralized structure strikes ~N 25o and dips ~75o towards 'and under' South Claim. Atleast
800 m strike length of the Duvan structure at depths below ~400 m on South Claim; Except for 4 diamond drill holes at the north end of the South Claim, these depths remain entirely untested by drilling.South Claim of property located 250 m W of Duvan Mine Shaft.
Duvan deposit ~102,584 tonnes sulphide ore grading 2.5% Cu and 100.8 g/T Ag above 950 foot level (1957). Ore mineralization = pyrite, pyrrhotite, chalcopyrite, sphalerite, bornite, magnetite.
