Archean mafic to ultramafic intrusion composed of gabbro, melanogabbro, gabbronorite, metadiorite, metapyroxenite, and pyroxenite hornblendite. Located at southern end of the Nipigon Plate "Ring of Fire".

Work:
Line cutting, Geophysics, grab sampling, channel sampling, extensive trenching, DDH's... performed by Texas Gulf (1975), J.P.Sheridan(1970), Platinum Exploration Co.(1987-88), and North American Palladium(2001)
Results:
19 samples gathered in 2001, 18 considered anomalous
1.58ppm Pd, 0.20ppm Pt, 0.09ppm Au
Average of 19 samples > 0.50ppm (Pd+Pt+Au)
Significant platinum and palldium concentrations with Cu-Ni sulphides
DDH values unreported
