Mineralization: Jan Prospect : carbonate hosted Cu-Sb-As-Zn-Ag ± Pb vein type deposit.Gold rare.   mineralization fault controlled; massive fracture-filling to disseminated tetrahedrite-tennantite with associated secondary malachite, azurite and minor sphalerite, galena, (chalcopyrite and bornite) in extensively fractured dolomitized, patchily silicified dolomitic limestones. Bam 10 Prospect :  fault and shear-hosted Au±Cu±Ag quartz veins within and adjacent to intrusive rock; 2 km south of Jan prospect.    Gold mineralization in granite host occurs with fine to coarse grained pyrite within grey quartz veins; veins discontinuous , tend to pinch out and disperse into the highly fractured granitic host rock. Work: 1950's & 1960's: large-scale geochemical exploration programs in the region. Schaft Creek porphyry copper deposit discovered.
