Work:
Deposit is being exploited by mechanised mining for last 5 years. Opened on strike at the main pit is 1700 m.
Results:
Soil cover not more than 5 m. Reserves as per United Nations framework estimated to the order of >250 million tonnes down to a depth of 80 meters
Current pit depth has reached 35 m level.
Producing 5000 tpd of raw kaolin; mechanized mining by excavators,loaders tippers and tractors.
